Dr. Jimmy Zhao is a cross-cultural consultant, specializing in U.S.- Chinese business relations. He was born in China and came to the United States in 1986 to pursue graduate degrees in American Studies and sociology. Dr. Zhao has been able to combine his understanding of and insight into cultural differences in order to serve as a cross-cultural bridge for companies doing business in China. His close work with clients has included accompanying them to China to assist with all aspects of China ventures, such as the identification of decision-makers, potential clients, partners and competitors for the U.S. client, generating solutions to specific company challenges in China, and maintaining liaison and improving business relationship between the client and the Chinese partners.

Dr. Zhao also prepares business documents in Chinese and provides translation and interpretation as well. His clients include Asian-American Business Network, Baker & McKenzie, Haynes Publications, Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach, LLP, Mitchell International, and MotorVac Technologies.
