Profile PictureVidya Santhanam is a management consultant specializing in acquisition, development and management of Human Capital. She has managed the Human Capital and Business Partner functions for multiple multinational organizations in India and US for over 17 years.

Vidya has extensive experience supporting start-up companies and large global organizations where she has played both a strategic and operational roles across multiple geographies, specifically the U.S. and India. She has managed and consulted on all major aspects of Human Resources and Operations, including Staffing, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Compliance & Process Efficiency, Organization Communication & Development, and Employee Global Mobility Management. Her last full-time position was as head of HR for a North America Business unit of a large global IT Service Provider. Vidya was primarily responsible for creating and aligning HR strategies to support business objectives, both in the U.S. and in the delivery organization in India. During this time, she also led multiple M&A projects and was responsible for the creation and implementation of pre-merger evaluations and due diligence as well as post-merger integration plans.

Since 2009, Vidya has been working as a management consultant with various clients on their HR Strategies, M&A preparedness, due diligence, and post-merger integration strategies including policy review, realignment, and communication.

Vidya is from Chennai, India, and has been living in the Silicon Valley in California since 1998. With her bicultural perspective along with her knowledge of HR requirements in cross-border organizations, she is in a unique position to assist organizations with mergers and acquisitions involving the U.S. and India.
