Mr. Koichi Togawa, a native of Japan, is an international management consultant who specializes in Human Resources (HR) and training across several industries. Mr. Togawa has developed a solid foundation as an HR management consultant through his experience in key functions for a number of major foreign companies in Japan. These include, but are not limited to: HR Director for ABB (Asea Brown Boveri), Senior Director of HR for Nippon Motorola Ltd., General Manager of Australian Dairy Corporation (ADC), Manager in finance, computer systems, retail planning and marketing sales for the Royal Dutch Shell Petroleum Co., and advisor for the ADC Secretariat and HR consultant for Intentia. On a recent DL&A assignment, Mr. Togawa was responsible for setting up HR systems within a Tokyo retail division of a large U.S. corporation. Mr. Togawa has a passion for teaching and communicating with others. He is currently involved in a major cross-cultural training initiative for managers involved in international business at NTT Docomo, the largest communications company in Japan. As part of the faculty of the comparative culture department at Sophia University, Mr. Togawa taught Human Resources Management. Additionally, he was an instructor in International Management at the Business School of Tokyo known as Business Gakuen. Mr. Togawa speaks Japanese and English fluently, and understands Spanish and German. He received an MBA degree from Arizona State University in 1992 when he and his family took part in an overseas assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. He also has a BA degree in commerce from Sophia University in Tokyo. Mr. Togawa is based in Tokyo. |
