Kamila Kowenzowska

Profile PictureKamila Kowenzowska is an interculturalist from Poland. She holds a Master’s Degree in Intercultural Studies from Jagiellonian University of Krakow, a Bachelor’s Degree in English Philology, and a post-graduate degree in Intercultural Public Relations. In addition, she studied International Business at EAFIT University, Medellin, Colombia, and obtained her trainer’s certification from the Professional Trainer School of Firma 2000, Warsaw, Poland.

Currently, Kamila works as an organizational trainer and consultant, specializing in the global cross-cultural field. Her expertise derives both from her training, and her living and working experience in such countries as the United States, Austria, the UK, Colombia, Spain and Germany. Her recent projects have included relocation training in Poland for Southeast Asian clients, and cross-cultural training sessions in South Asia where she has focused on helping Polish-Indian teams with cross-cultural awareness and effective communication. Kamila’s consulting clients include IKEA, Chrysler, GlaxoSmithKline, Akamai, International Paper Company, and Aon Hewitt India.

Before pursuing a training and consulting career, Kamila worked for Shell as an HR Services Advisor, providing support for expatriate employees in Europe, Africa, South America and Russia. She was also responsible for implementing Shell’s Diversity and Inclusion policy within the HR Services department. Kamila’s cross-cultural business experience is first-hand; in her various corporate roles.

Kamila is Vice-President of SIETAR Polska (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research), and a board member of SIETAR Europa. Additionally, she works closely with the Comparative Research Network in Berlin, and is participating in several intercultural and cross-border projects.
