Brigit Garabedian’s career spans nearly 20 years of corporate operational and human resources management experience across multiple industries. She has coached all levels of management both internally and externally facilitating process enhancement, communication and team development. Since 1997, her career has focused on Leadership and Career Coaching in addition to executive search as a member of .Korn Ferry International’s Advanced Technology Practice. To her client relationships, Brigit brings the ability to establish rapport quickly, listen intuitively and skillfully facilitate progress through provocative and compelling inquiry. She offers grounded insight with a humorous edge allowing her clients to shift perspectives and move rapidly toward their vision. Brigit is genuinely vested in her client’s success and passionate about championing them to reach higher levels of performance and fulfillment. She is an ally, an advocate and a partner. Brigit brings a wealth of insight to leadership and business challenges based on her first-hand experience in a variety of leadership roles within both private and public companies. She blends practical and theoretical knowledge in her work with those who wish to expand their effectiveness. Her experience working with leaders across industries gives her an invaluable understanding of different organizational cultures, yet an appreciation for the similarities in the challenges that leaders face. Brigit has coached clients in financial services, technology, manufacturing, retail, education and non-profit sectors. She consulted to Lee Hecht Harrison, one of the largest international outplacement firms, and ibt associates facilitating transition workshops and providing one-on-one coaching for individuals impacted by corporate restructuring. As an executive search consultant, Brigit managed searches for CEO, President, CFO, VP Sales & Business Development, VP Marketing, CIO, and VP Human Resources positions. Her client list includes high technology companies such as Cisco Systems, Macromedia, Symantec, Lam Research, Fair Isaac, Tut Systems, Esurance and a host of early stage Internet companies. Brigit is currently completing her Masters degree in Organizational Psychology with a Certificate in Leadership Coaching at JFK University in the San Francisco Bay Area, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Psychology. She has studied Coaching at New Ventures West Professional Coaching program in San Francisco, California, and is a certified trainer of William Bridges’ Transitions Management programs.
